Allied Health Opportunities at NSMC

Fifteen of the 30 fastest growing occupations for 2002-2012 are in the allied health professions. The delivery of high quality health care is complicated and requires the knowledge and talents of diverse health care professionals. This team is not complete without the expertise of allied health care professionals. Allied Health practitioners work with physicians and other members of the health care team to delivery high-quality patient care services. Nursing Professional Developments

Orientation

Our innovative nursing departments offer an extensive orientation program tailored to individual experiences and needs. During your orientation, clinical educators and preceptors will help you become comfortable with all equipment, train you on computer programs, assess your knowledge base and provide appropriate training materials.

Educational Opportunities for Nurses

NSMC offers free CEU programs on site, an annual Cardiovascular Nursing conference and tuition reimbursement.
